i am not coordinated, but i learn.


Many knitters also argue that knitting using the Continental style is faster, as there is more efficient usage of hand movements, for others they find difficulty with the co-ordination of movement, as knitting Continental style requires much more co-ordination using the left hand. For these knitters it defeats the efficiency argument as they have to go back and pick up the dropped stitches.

As Knitting Continental style does require a lot more co-ordination using the left hand, for many new knitters they can find themselves in a tangle.
