cranberry sauce is not hard to make.

i don't know why people think it is.

here's a martha stewart recipe. it's kind of fancy with the cognac & the spices but you get the picture.

just throw the cranberries & the sugar in a pot & simmer till the cranberries pop. then you chill it.

i like cinnamon & orange peel in mine & sometimes i do a waldorf version that adds walnuts, celery & chopped apples & oranges.

i have never set cranberry sauce on fire, although i think my mom did one time.
