approximately one hour lapsed between the time i backed up my itunes library & the time i completely wiped out my itunes library (i have no idea whatsoever how i did this), setting into motion yet another chain of annoying events. in my defense, i am not the first person to have done this which would normally lead me to believe that itunes has some kind of code embedded into it that deletes your itunes library whenever you try to mess with it, but i figured out that what's really going on here is i am being repeatedly assaulted with katie holmes' face which is plastered everywhere on the internet/city buses/television which is why everything is far more irritating than it needs to be.
