i needed something in white that i could throw on if it gets chilly.
i was knitting along fine & then about 2/3 the way through i looked at the plain white cardigan & realized it was really, really white.
& plain.
so i started thinking about ways to dress it up. maybe a contrasting color. or black cuffs & black button bands. even though what i needed was just a plain white cardigan that i could throw on if it gets chilly.
so i managed to talk myself out of contrasting color options & black cuffs & even searching etsy for the be all/end all of vintage buttons to finish it off. & i was doing good there for awhile, but eventually all that really plain white got to me again.
because without any contrasting colors or decorative accents you can see the true state of my stitches which is that they are not perfect.
at what point will i decide that i do not have time for my own bullshit.
seriously. it's a sweater.
