i mentioned before that i'm reading my way through the Harry Potter novels, but on a parallel track i've discovered the Quiller novels - British spy novels written by Elleston Trevor (Adam Hall).
i've always been a fan of minimalist writing & the Quiller novels are. it's a good thing the stories are fantastic, because i am so bowled over by the writing that it threatens to distract me from the stories.
i'm almost finished with the fourth novel -
there are holes in the library's collection, but i've done some research & i think i can get some of the missing novels on the cheap & then donate them to the library when i'm done.
it's good to be back in the books.
