glazed lemon and blueberry cupcakes

i added 1 cup blueberries to this cupcake recipe & made a quick & tart glaze with 2/3 cup confectioners sugar + 4 tsp lemon juice.

blueberry bursts seriously heighten lemon flavor, but i was not thrilled with the cake. the texture was too clingy.

this is a very tart cupcake. i liked it because i'm not a fan of overly sweet things. but if you've got a sweet tooth, best to use a plain glaze or ice with a sweet lemon-scented buttercream.
