skirt test run.

i'm wearing the dirndl skirt today. i planned on taking a photo of it this morning before i left for work, but the neighbors went out of town last night & there was an incident with their cat (my beloved buppie) that i had to address this a.m. so no time to deal with photos.

the first time i wear something i've sewn up myself, i have this fear it's going to fall apart at the seams on a crowded sidewalk. so far today, that hasn't happened. the skirt is really comfortable & looks much better than it did, but i don't think the dirndl skirt style is for me. also, the hem needs to be taken up some more. it's too long.
