this weekend i baked.

cream cheese brownies & cook's illustrated homemade macaroni & cheese.

the brownies were for C. a post-marathon treat, sitting in my freezer for when she returns from the nyc.

the macaroni & cheese was another story. i set that shit on fire.

oven fire was not part of the recipe.

woo hoo.

i also learned how to do intarsia for knitting wide vertical stripes, plus knit up a bunch of different test swatches for a pattern i'm designing myself. my math, of course, was way off.
