susie bubble finds a pair of the 1945 trousers with built-up waistband & ribbon suspenders at a massive (massive) vintage sale in london.
i'm gleeful about this.
it's kind of hard to explain, but it's almost as if i wasn't sure those trousers existed in the '40s until now.
i love the piping on the waistband &, it seems, i love piping no matter what.
this is a real shame because it's a pain to sew.
it's hard enough applying it to a straight seam. can you imagine the difficulty applying it to a curve?
p.s. i love how she styled them!
