the day i landed in chicago, it was my cousin's daughter's birthday. she loves red velvet cupcakes so i made some (smitten kitchen's recipe again) for her party.
her name is jackie, but her mom calls her jax-- thus the ball & jax.
the trip went by faster than the speed of light. we were busy & going from beginning to end & i don't think i got more than 3-4 hours sleep per nite the entire trip.
i moved through 3 time zones yesterday.
my family is so much fun & it's a major shock leaving them & coming back here.
i wish i could do the trip all over again.
