this past saturday was the baby shower for studio wellspring.
i had such great luck with smitten kitchen's blondies recipe, that i decided to give her red velvet a try. the cuppies weren't that red, but the cake was really good, so it's going to replace my old red velvet recipe.
& remember awhile back when i was talking about baby friendly yarn? well here's what i came up with &, in honor of A, i've titled this knitting project she hates pink.
but these are not the most important things that happened this weekend.
the baby shower happened just in time, because on Sunday A went into labor & at 2:30am, her perfect little peach was born.
mother & baby are doing just fine!
