I had this exact same transistor radio when I was a kid. I bet my mom remembers it!
When we lived in Philadelphia, I could catch WLS, ChiCAgo! on Sunday nights, late, if the airwaves were clear (or whatever magical thing it was that allowed me to hear my Chicago cousins' radio station far, far away in Philadelphia.)
Good times.
Anyway, I found it for a great price & it works!
